Changelog

What's new in Ahena

Changes you can see in the product, the CLI or the docs, newest first.

    • New

      Solutions

New pages on the problems Ahena solves, for developers, engineering teams and agencies, and for AI coding agents, provider configuration, secrets, drift, readiness and environments.

    • New

      Ten new integrations in beta

GitHub, Vercel, Neon, MongoDB Atlas, AWS S3, AWS SES, Postmark, Sentry, OpenRouter and the Gemini API join the existing eight, each with Doctor checks, a setup guide and its verification status.

    • New

Integrations, guides, security, support and status pages

ahena.io now has a page for each provider Ahena works with, saying what it inspects, configures and verifies and how far each integration is verified, plus guides, a security overview, support, a live status page and a contact form.

    • New

      Paid plans are open

Starter, Pro and Business can be bought from an organization's Billing page through Stripe Checkout. Free stays free; Enterprise is by conversation.

    • Developer

      @ahena/cli 0.1.0-beta.2 is Apache-2.0

The CLI on npm is now licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Using the hosted service is still covered by the Terms of Service.

    • Improved

Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

The final Privacy Policy and Terms of Service take effect on October 6, 2026.

    • New

Changes that matter are approved in the browser

Production changes, and billable or destructive changes anywhere, are approved only from a signed-in dashboard session. The CLI and AI agents can ask for approval and wait; they can't give it.

    • New

      Agent sessions for MCP

ahena mcp runs on its own 12-hour agent session. Agents can read, run Doctor and plan; approving, revealing secrets and managing members or billing are refused.

    • New

      Continuous Doctor

Ahena can run Doctor and drift checks on a schedule (hourly or daily) for each environment, configured per project in the dashboard.

    • New

      Two-factor sign-in

Turn on two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app. You get ten single-use recovery codes when you set it up.

    • New

Password reset, email verification and team invitations

Reset a forgotten password by email, verify your email address, and invite teammates to an organization with an emailed link.

    • New

      Documentation at ahena.io/docs

The full documentation is public: quick start, concepts, every provider, the CLI reference, MCP and the security model.

    • Developer

      @ahena/cli 0.1.0-beta.1 on npm

The first public beta of the CLI. Run it with npx @ahena/cli or install it globally.

    • Improved

OpenAI and Anthropic verified against the real APIs

Key validation, model discovery and Doctor were run against the real OpenAI and Anthropic APIs, read-only.

    • New

Sign in with GitHub or Google

Sign in with GitHub, Google or a password, and connect several sign-in methods to one Ahena account.

    • Improved

      Stripe restricted-key permissions are checked

Connecting Stripe and running Doctor now tell you whether a restricted key can write products, prices and webhook endpoints, without changing anything in your account.

    • Improved

      First real-provider verification

Stripe (test mode), Cloudflare (read-only) and Ollama (local) were verified against the real services.

    • Fixed

      Clearer Cloudflare messages

Cloudflare now reports R2 not being enabled on an account as such, instead of as a missing token permission, and recognizes a value that isn't a Cloudflare token.

    • Improved

ahena status says how old Doctor's findings are

The status command shows when Doctor last checked each environment, so you know whether to run it again.
